fire alarm

So I’m sitting at the computer on LiveJournal uploading these custom smilies when I hear beeping noises. Automatically, I jump up and start screaming for my mother. Why?

One year and one week ago, my house was set on fire purposely by my boyfriend’s brother. My boyfriend was living with me at the time because I was pregnant. His mother was jealous that he wanted to stay with me rather than “hang out” with her. His mother is really his grandmother; she adopted him. She is the craziest person I have ever met in my life. Since she was so crazy, nobody wanted anything to do with her. This is including my boyfriend which, by the way, his name is Chris. ;)

Because of the fact that Chris wanted nothing to do with her, she was furious and forced his jailbird brother to set our house on fire and her mother’s house on fire. She was mad at her mother, too. We just don’t know why.

Nobody really understands why people don’t like her unless you’ve actually met her. If she has your phone number, she’ll call non-stop. She was calling every five minutes before we got our phone number changed and made private.

Anyway, so last night when I heard a beeping noise, I thought, “FIRE!”. So I screamed until my mom woke up and stupid me, I woke Lyra (my daughter) and Chris, too. I didn’t mean to wake them, but I was so terrified. I hardly got any sleep last night either.

Maybe I’m just paranoid.

frizzy hair

Every time I visit a hair salon, I always ask for long layers. And every time I wash my hair after getting these long layers, my hair is a big poof ball. I can try straightening my hair so it’s not so poofy, but it doesn’t look as great as other girl’s hair that I see.

Why is my hair so ugly? Why does it get so oily in just a couple of hours after washing it? WHY IS IT POOFY?

If you’re reading this, give me hair tips. I want new, fabulous hair! haha.

Divine Intervention

I was supposed to go to the Charlotte outlet sale today which is 30 minutes away from where I live. My friend came and picked me, my boyfriend, and my daughter up a little after 8:30 AM. Her dad called her and told her to come back home.

Apparently, her car is in no condition to drive 30 minutes to our destination. Something happened to it and we have no idea why. But he said that if we went to the outlet sale anyway, we would be stuck on the side of the road by the time we hit Mecklenburg county. So now I can’t go.

And I’m sitting at home wishing I could go. But I can’t now. :[

What’s weird is that I kept saying, “I don’t want to take Lyra. I have a feeling that an accident might happen.” Well, my friend’s dad said (without him knowing I kept saying that about the accident), “Have you ever heard of a divine intervention? God might have just saved you from a terrible accident.”

I hope that’s the reason.

Vera Bradley Outlet Sale: 2 days!

Exactly what the subject says. I’m going to the Vera Bradley Outlet Sale this Thursday. I’m extremely excited to go because they are supposed to have retired patterns and styles there! I don’t care about the new stuff right now. All I want is a Katherine Handbag.

My friend Britny is taking me for my birthday… even though my birthday is in October. She always gives me the best birthday presents even if she doesn’t like the same things I do.

For my sixteenth birthday, she took me to a Copeland concert and she didn’t really like them. And she thinks the Vera Bradley bags are cute, but “not her style”. But she’s taking me anyway. She’s so freaking nice.

Oh yeah, remember The Junior Varsity? Took forever to remember.
