New Baby, College, Back to Work… Oh My!

As most of you don’t know, I am currently expecting a baby boy any day now. I already have a 3-year-old daughter, Lyra, and she’s a handful. I’m also on maternity leave from my job, Food Lion, and the next semester at the college begins on August 16th.

I am going to be overwhelmed for about half a year.

I expect it should be a little easy in the beginning because Lyra will be in preschool most of the day and since I’m used to being a mom, I’ll know how to multi-task with the new baby. I’m only taking three classes until October when I also go back to work. I think that my most overwhelming time will be October 3rd through December 18th because I’ll be doing everything during those months.

I’m just trying to get this all out so maybe I can breathe. Anyone have any tips on managing such a workload? Anyone else going through something similar to me?

Lord, I hope not! :p

DADDY!

I haven’t seen my father in about eight years. I thought that he didn’t care about me because he never tried to contact me in any way. Until Sunday, January 14th, 2007; There was a knock on my door and it was my step-mother. I was in complete and total shock that she had found me.

Supposedly she and my father have been trying to track me down for years, but I moved so much that they just missed me. And they tried calling my home phone, but it was disconnected. I had just changed the phone number a few hours before they called. It’s like it was never meant to be.

But I seen him again and I have a 17-month old sister and a new baby on the way! I’m excited and very overwhelmed.

Ecstatic. <3
