My Famous Daughter
If anyone of you are friends with me on Facebook, you know how I love to post things that my children say or do or I’ll post about wedding planning and the sort. Very rarely do I complain or post useless crap like writing an itinerary of my day.
A friend of mine just told me that Lyra should have her own show or website just for the things she says. And it reminded me… Lyra DID have a website just for the things she would say. It lasted less than a year because I couldn’t keep up with it due to school and work and kids. But now that three years have come and gone and Lyra is funnier and more clever than ever before, I’m seriously considering on bringing the website back.
Of course it’ll be hard to start from scratch again and this time will be FIVE years worth of quotes, pictures, videos, etc. instead of only two. It will take an enormous amount of time to organize it all, but I really think it will be worth it.
Yeah, it might seem like I’m one of those crazy moms who create a Facebook profile for their two-year-old. I feel like this is different. And it’s a great way to keep memories. I’m gonna do it.

Back again!
So obviously I don’t take blogging as serious as I did when I was 14-years-old, but that’s okay. I have the good excuse of being a working mother.
I was revamping this entire website and had it in maintenance mode, but I found out that two of my real life friends started blogging also! I’ll still be fixing up this website and purging things that are no longer needed. Maybe even a new layout if I can ever find time to make one, haha!
Hopefully this is the start of a long-time, regular blog. I’m going to retrieve as many old blog posts as I possibly can. I know almost all of my posts from 2003-2009 will not be able to be retrieved. Which makes me sad, but I guess that I will have to live.
Take care!

Put on your best boys…
I really dislike that I’m constantly busy and I have no time for my websites anymore. The passion for websites and wedding/event planning are still there, but I just don’t have the time, especially with being a working mother.
By the end of this year (or some time beginning of 2012), I will be updating regularly again. I have to get my life in order and organized. Fun, fun!

From the Heart
Lately I’ve been posting how I’m super busy with life. I’ve got my two children, a full time job, college, plus I’m planning a wedding… that gets kind of crazy, don’t you think? I agree. Well, read some updates!
Food Lion… That’s my job. It’s a love/hate relationship. This place takes up most of my time and money! I work there and shop there, so they get all the money they pay me BACK into their bank accounts and I might as well live in the store.
Children… Lyra is a sick kid. Well, not really. But she gets sick wicked easily. She’s allergic to every kind of pollen and tree and chocolate and dairy! Poor child. Dalton isn’t that bad. Actually, I believe he’s only been sick twice and it was just little colds that weren’t nothing! They’re both something else. Dalton already likes to aggravate Lyra and he’s only 9-months! Too cute!
Wedding… Most of you know that my desired career is to be a wedding and event planner. I’m starting out planning my own wedding and also going to school for event planning. I’m not getting married until next May, but I’m the type that likes to get things done early. NO PROCRASTINATION! Sup?
Hopefully I’ll post more little updates like this… you know, about family, work, and life in general. I don’t think I’m going to post the Food Lion sales ads anymore since I post the next week’s that isn’t out yet… that might be illegal! LOL.

Plain White T’s
No, this post is not about the band who sings “Hey there, Delilah”. It’s about real plain white t-shirts!
I always love to go through Dustin’s clothes and wear one of his t’s because they are comfortable and are big enough to cover my post-pregnancy flab, haha.
Recently I was browsing the website College Fashion and one of the writers says that having plain white t-shirts are a staple because it literally goes with anything and if you buy the v-neck kind, it’s fashionable.
So here I go to Walmart to buy a pack of four v-neck t-shirts in the men’s department all because I want some of my own and that College Fashion website told me to do it.
Lets just say that I think you should do it, too.
It cost me $8.50 + tax for four v-neck t-shirts by Puritan at Walmart versus the $8.50 I spent on one v-neck t-shirt at Forever 21. They all look the SAME. Ughh, I should have seen it before.

Hey, I'm Kerri and I am the webmistress of this blog! I am a young mother of two children and one on the way! I'm working towards becoming a wedding and event planner in the near future, but I also build a lot of websites for no reason and I like to drink coffee. :)
